Reviewer Opportunities
PISRT invites researchers, faculty members, and subject specialists to join its reviewer network. Reviewers play an important role in maintaining the academic standard, originality, clarity, and scientific value of manuscripts submitted to journals published by Ptolemy Scientific Research Press.

Open Position: Assistant Managing Editor
Ptolemy Scientific Research Press is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Managing Editor. The role is suitable for a motivated candidate with strong communication skills, an interest in academic publishing, and the ability to coordinate editorial and manuscript-related tasks in a professional manner.
The Assistant Managing Editor will support the editorial office in managing manuscript communication, coordinating with authors, reviewers, and editors, checking submitted files for completeness, maintaining editorial records, assisting with publication schedules, and supporting the smooth operation of journal workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate communication between authors, reviewers, editors, and the editorial office.
- Assist with initial manuscript checks, including formatting, completeness, authorship information, and required declarations.
- Support the peer-review workflow by tracking manuscript progress and sending timely reminders when required.
- Maintain accurate editorial records, correspondence, and manuscript status information.
- Assist in preparing accepted manuscripts for production and publication.
- Help update journal information, announcements, reviewer records, and editorial documents when needed.
- Support the editorial office in maintaining professional standards, publication ethics, and timely communication.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant academic discipline.
- Excellent written communication skills in English.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle academic correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
- Basic understanding of scholarly publishing, peer review, and editorial processes.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and editorial correspondence.
- Experience with journal management systems, WordPress, reference formatting, copyediting, Crossref, DOI registration, or academic publishing will be considered an advantage.
