Copyright Policy
All journals published by PSR Press follow the Diamond Open Access publishing model. Articles published in PSR Press journals are made freely available to readers without subscription barriers, and authors retain the copyright of their published work without restriction. Under the Diamond Open Access model, authors are not required to pay article processing charges for standard publication.
Articles published in PSR Press journals are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, reproduction, sharing, adaptation, and transmission of the published work in any medium or format, provided that the original work is properly cited. Users of the published material must give appropriate credit to the author or authors, cite the journal as the original source of publication, provide a link to the license where applicable, and indicate whether any changes were made.
By publishing in a PSR Press journal, authors grant the journal the right of first publication, while continuing to hold full copyright ownership of their article. The publication of an article does not transfer copyright from the authors to the publisher. Instead, it allows the journal to publish, archive, disseminate, and preserve the article as part of the scholarly record.
Readers, researchers, teachers, students, institutions, and other users may read, download, copy, print, distribute, search, link to, translate, text-mine, data-mine, or reuse the published content for lawful academic, educational, research, and professional purposes, provided that proper acknowledgment is given to the original authors and source. No special permission is required from the publisher or authors for such permitted use, as long as the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license are followed.
Articles published by PSR Press may include third-party material that is protected by copyright. Such material may include figures, tables, photographs, maps, diagrams, illustrations, datasets, long quotations, logos, reproduced extracts, or other content that has been taken from, adapted from, or based on previously published or externally owned sources. Third-party copyrighted material included in an article may not always be covered by the article’s CC BY 4.0 license unless this is clearly stated in the credit line, caption, acknowledgment, or permission notice.
Authors are responsible for identifying any third-party copyrighted material used in their manuscripts and for obtaining all necessary permissions before submission and publication. Authors must also provide proper acknowledgment of the original source and rights holder. Where third-party material is used under a specific license, permission, exception, or fair-use/fair-dealing provision, the authors must ensure that the use is lawful and properly documented.
Users who wish to reuse third-party material from an article published by PSR Press should carefully check the credit line, caption, acknowledgment, and source information attached to that material. If the material is not clearly included under the article’s CC BY 4.0 license, users are responsible for obtaining permission directly from the copyright holder before reuse, reproduction, distribution, adaptation, or republication.
PSR Press may request authors to provide evidence of permission for any copyrighted third-party material included in a manuscript. If permission is not available or the use is not properly justified, the authors may be asked to remove, replace, or revise the material before publication. If a copyright concern is raised after publication, PSR Press may investigate the matter and take appropriate editorial action, which may include correction, removal of the material, publication of a notice, or other action consistent with publication ethics and copyright law.
Authors may deposit the published version of their article in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, academic networks, and other scholarly platforms, provided that the final published version is properly cited and linked to the journal publication where possible. This policy supports the wider dissemination of knowledge while protecting proper authorship, citation, and scholarly attribution.
Privacy Policy
The personal information submitted to any journal of PSR Press, including names, email addresses, institutional affiliations, ORCID iDs, contact details, manuscript information, reviewer information, and editorial correspondence, will be used only for the stated purposes of journal management, manuscript processing, peer review, editorial communication, publication, indexing, archiving, and related scholarly publishing activities.
Information provided by authors will be used to process submissions, communicate editorial decisions, request revisions, manage publication files, prepare accepted articles for publication, maintain journal records, and ensure proper identification of authorship and affiliation. The corresponding author’s contact details may be used for communication during submission, peer review, production, and post-publication correspondence. Author names, affiliations, and other publication-related details may appear in the published article as part of the permanent scholarly record.
PSR Press respects the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and editorial correspondence. Manuscripts submitted for review will be treated as confidential documents and will be shared only with editors, reviewers, editorial staff, and authorized personnel involved in the evaluation and publication process. Reviewer identities and review reports will be handled according to the review policy of the relevant journal.
Personal information submitted to PSR Press journals will not be sold, rented, exchanged, or made available to unrelated third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. Information may only be used where necessary for legitimate publishing operations, including editorial assessment, peer review, production, indexing, archiving, publication ethics investigations, technical support, and compliance with legal or scholarly publishing requirements.
Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to provide accurate and current information when communicating with the journal. Any person whose information is held by PSR Press may contact the editorial office to request correction of inaccurate information, where appropriate. However, information that forms part of the permanent scholarly record, such as author names, affiliations, article metadata, citations, publication history, and editorial records, may need to be retained for academic, legal, indexing, archiving, and publication-integrity purposes.
PSR Press takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Access to personal information is limited to individuals who need it for editorial, publishing, administrative, or technical purposes. By submitting a manuscript, review, editorial decision, or other communication to a PSR Press journal, users acknowledge that their information will be processed for the purposes described in this policy.
