We take tremendous pleasure in announcing the inauguration of The Pečarić Journal of Mathematical Inequalities (PJMI), a specialized platform dedicated to advancing research in the theory and applications of inequalities. This journal is founded in the honor of research contributions of Academician Professor Josip Pečarić, whose pathbreaking work on inequality theory, convexity, and fractional analysis has had a long-lasting impact on mathematics globally. Mathematical inequalities have developed impressively in the last few decades and have impacted areas as diverse as pure and applied analysis, optimization, fractional calculus, probability theory, information science, mathematical physics, matrices and operator theory. By combining classical notions with contemporary generalizations such as convexity inferred inequalities, operator inequalities, and fractional integral operators the branch keeps contributing significantly to both theoretical investigation and practical use. The PJMI mission is:

To offer an international forum for high standard research papers, reviews, and surveys in inequalities and their related fields.

To bring to the front new trends motivated by Professor Josip Pečarić’s work, such as generalized convexity, celebrated inequalities, fractional calculus, functional inequalities, analysis, matrices and operator theory.

To foster cooperation among researchers by bridging advances in inequality theory with applications in engineering, physics, economics, and computational sciences. To support the development of new frameworks in analysis and its applications, thereby broadening the scope of inequality theory in interdisciplinary settings.

We see PJMI as a platform where both senior scholars and junior scholars are able to share their research, discuss ideas, and develop innovative advances. The journal will uphold strict peer review policies to publish original and influential contributions. On behalf of the editorial team, we call on researchers from across the globe to be part of this journal by publishing their most recent research, serving as reviewers, and initiating scholarly discussions. In doing so, we not only pay tribute to Professor Josip Pečarić’s legacy but continue to develop on the foundation he created, making the fields of inequalities, analysis, matrices and operator theory rich and impactful in the future. We await your contributions and look forward to seeing this journal grow to become a preeminent reference for mathematical inequalities and analysis.
