Aim and Scope
Ptolemy Journal of Chemistry (PJC) is an international, peer-reviewed, Diamond Open Access journal dedicated to the publication of high-quality scholarly work in chemistry and related chemical sciences. The journal provides a platform for original research articles, review articles, letters, case reports, short communications, and editorial articles that contribute to the advancement of applied, experimental, theoretical, and interdisciplinary chemistry.
The aim of PJC is to encourage chemists, researchers, scientists, academicians, and professionals to publish significant findings in all major areas of chemistry. The journal welcomes manuscripts that present new experimental results, theoretical insights, chemical methods, analytical techniques, molecular studies, materials development, pharmaceutical applications, environmental investigations, and interdisciplinary research involving chemistry and related sciences.
PJC emphasizes the publication of clear, original, ethically prepared, and scientifically reliable articles. Submissions should present well-supported findings, appropriate methodology, accurate analysis, and meaningful discussion. Authors are encouraged to provide sufficient experimental, computational, analytical, and methodological detail so that the results can be understood, evaluated, and, where applicable, reproduced by other researchers.
The journal is committed to making published research rapidly and freely available worldwide under the Diamond Open Access model. There are no article processing charges for standard publication, and all published articles are freely accessible online to readers.
