Aim and Scope
The Pečarić Journal of Mathematical Inequalities (PJMI) is an international, peer-reviewed, Diamond Open Access journal dedicated to the advancement of research in the theory, methods, and applications of mathematical inequalities, convexity, and related areas of mathematical analysis.
The journal was established to honor the profound scientific legacy of Academician Professor Josip Pečarić, a distinguished scholar whose contributions have played an important role in shaping the modern theory of inequalities. Through this academic mission, PJMI provides a specialized platform for the publication of high-quality original research, review articles, and concise communications in the field of mathematical inequalities and their applications.
The aim of PJMI is to promote rigorous and innovative research that deepens the theoretical understanding of inequalities, introduces new methods and refinements, strengthens existing results, and demonstrates the broad usefulness of inequality techniques in pure and applied mathematics. The journal welcomes manuscripts that develop new inequalities, generalize or sharpen known results, present original proof techniques, or apply inequality methods to important problems in mathematics, science, engineering, and computational disciplines.
PJMI encourages authors to present their results in a clear, complete, and mathematically precise form. Submissions should include sufficient detail, well-structured arguments, accurate references, and rigorous proofs so that the results can be properly understood, verified, and used by researchers working in related areas.
The scope of The Pečarić Journal of Mathematical Inequalities includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- Classical Inequalities
- Modern Inequalities
- Integral Inequalities
- Fractional Calculus and Fractional Integral Inequalities
- Functional Inequalities
- Operator Inequalities
- Matrix Inequalities
- Inequalities in Linear Algebra
- Convexity
- Generalized Convexity
- Inequalities Related to Convex Functions
- Inequalities in Mathematical Analysis
- Inequalities in Approximation Theory
- Inequalities in Optimization Theory
- Inequalities in Numerical Analysis
- Inequalities in Probability and Statistics
- Inequalities in Information Theory
- Inequalities in Mathematical Physics
- Inequalities in Engineering Applications
- Inequalities in Computational Sciences
- Applications of Inequality Methods in Pure and Applied Mathematics
The journal particularly welcomes manuscripts that offer new inequalities, improve existing estimates, establish sharper bounds, introduce innovative proof techniques, or explore novel applications of inequality theory in theoretical and applied contexts.
PJMI is committed to maintaining strict standards of peer review, publication ethics, mathematical accuracy, and editorial quality. Manuscripts submitted to the journal should demonstrate originality, technical correctness, clarity of exposition, and relevance to researchers working in inequalities, convexity, mathematical analysis, and related disciplines.
