Aim and Scope

Open Journal of Mathematical Sciences (OMS) is an international, peer-reviewed, Diamond Open Access journal that provides an advanced platform for the publication of scholarly work in mathematical sciences. The journal is devoted to the publication of high-quality review articles, original research papers, and short communications in all areas of pure and applied mathematics.

The aim of OMS is to support the dissemination of rigorous mathematical research and to encourage researchers and scientists to publish their theoretical, computational, and applied results in a clear, complete, and reproducible form. Submissions should be well written, mathematically sound, and of interest to a broad readership of mathematicians, scientists, engineers, and researchers working in related disciplines.

The journal welcomes manuscripts that make a meaningful contribution to mathematical theory, mathematical methods, computational techniques, or applications of mathematics in science, engineering, technology, finance, biology, and other fields. Authors are encouraged to provide a full account of their research, including detailed proofs, methods, calculations, algorithms, and procedures where appropriate.

OMS does not impose unnecessary restrictions on manuscript length, provided that the content is scientifically justified, clearly presented, and relevant to the scope of the journal. Authors should include sufficient detail to allow readers to understand, verify, and, where applicable, reproduce the results. Supplementary files, software, datasets, extended calculations, additional proofs, or computational materials may be submitted when they provide important support for the manuscript but cannot be fully included in the main article.

The scope of Open Journal of Mathematical Sciences includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Algebra
  • Approximation Theory
  • Boundary Value Problems
  • Fixed Point Theory
  • Functional Analysis
  • Geometry
  • Graph Theory
  • Linear Operators
  • Mathematical Inequalities
  • Mathematical Physics
  • Number Theory
  • Numerical Analysis
  • Stochastic Processes
  • Topology
  • Ordinary Differential Equations and Partial Differential Equations
  • Dynamical Systems
  • Financial Mathematics
  • Mathematical and Computational Biology
  • Mathematical Statistics
  • Combinatorics
  • Mathematical Modeling

The journal also welcomes interdisciplinary work in which mathematical methods are applied to problems in science, engineering, technology, economics, finance, biology, and related fields. Manuscripts should demonstrate mathematical originality, technical correctness, clarity of exposition, and relevance to the journal’s academic audience.
